Each character you meet during your adventure has become a friend. Thanks to the good times spent together, we have established a sort of contract of trust whose foundation is based on the success of your stay.

You might meet them during your trip!
Javier, young Argentine gaucho
Javier, young and handsome gaucho, always available and generous, we almost want to adopt him. But Javier is too attached to these lands at the end of the world to follow you…
Tito, Patagonian Gaucho
Tito, his wisdom and his experience, with unfailing calm, a look and a smile that exude the transparency of a simple and complete life. A man from the “farm”, educated, intelligent, surprising…
Raúl, Patagonian Gaucho
Raúl, Tito’s companion, works in the same “estancia”. Like the gauchos, exchanging a few words or mates with him is a real pleasure. Also, in winter, Raúl is almost alone in the world, in his forgotten cabin, where the condors keep him company.
Luís Tinte and “El Chino”
I present to you Luís Tinte and “El Chino”. They are the image of this region of Northwest Argentina: surprising, simple, warm. Luís and “El Chino” are 2 outstanding musicians. Crossing their path is an unforgettable experience and… all in music!
Gustavo, Fisherman of Patagonia
Gustavo, a real handyman, very simple. He always has a solution to everything and is a true force of nature. His kindness and dedication match his ability to fight the elements. He’s also a specialist in “asado” and proves to be an exceptional fisherman.
Ricky, Patagonia guide
Ricky, what can you say about this man? We really want to be his friend… Former ski instructor, fishing and hunting guide, he’s passionate about life in estancia. He’ll be able to talk to you for hours about the customs, traditions and history of Patagonia.
Rogeglio, native of Tierra del Fuego
Rogeglio will certainly welcome you in his hotel in Ushuaïa which represents his whole life. Don’t be fooled by his somewhat “rustic” appearance, Rogeglio has his heart on his sleeve and you’ll feel at home accompanied by his presence.
Fine cooking too, this will be an opportunity to taste local dishes. It’s also an opportunity for me to share unforgettable evenings with him every time I go to the ends of the world…
Hector Correa
Hector Correa, his face marked by the hostility of the climate and the harshness of life at the end of the world, in Patagonia. Sharing a mate with a character like him is the kind of unforgettable moment of a trip.
Enzo, a little Patagonian Gaucho
Enzo, no need to tell you what the future of this little guy will be! There are people who search for their paths or their destiny all their lives while for others, everything seems so obvious…
Myrna, the love of my life
Where would I be and what would I do if my path had never crossed hers?? She’s without a doubt the reason and the strong link that brought me to Patagonia. A true ray of sunshine in my life and for all those who cross his path.
Marisa and Pablo
A couple of friends that I particularly appreciate. Marisa is a permanent ray of sunshine in Patagonia. Pablo is a real gaucho, a handyman and very friendly. It’s very difficult to leave their home because their welcome is so warm.
Jaime Torres, Argentinian artist
Destiny has allowed me to count among my friends Jaime Torres, or I should rather say, “Master” Jaime Torres. A world-renowned artist, the indisputable reference of Charango, a man of incredible simplicity and gentle kindness, I had the chance to experience many moments with this great “little” man, those moments that make life worth living. Character from the Northwest of Argentina, at Humahuaca, where Jaime created the “Tantanakuy Cultural Center”. Hasta siempre maestro…
Tono, the “playboy” gaucho
Ladies, be careful not to fall under the spell of this very endearing character. Tono is a gaucho, musician, who loves children and is very funny. Also for those who are interested, as I write these lines, Tono is 46 years old, single and still lives with his parents!! A pure gaucho! Superb landscapes and horses await you, belly-busting asado, music and Spanish lessons as a bonus… You may meet him around Salta…
Jesús, Patagonian Gaucho
Jesús, and his real gaucho “face”, is a great friend. Horses and estancia life hold no secrets for him. He has the look and appearance of these cowboys from the deep south, with the heart and sensitivity of these people living outside of time. And with a name like that, it couldn’t be otherwise…
José & Vicky, Tango dancers
José and Vicky, friends and professional tango dancers. They perfectly master this dance which over all values women in their femininity and sensuality. We could look for hours and hours at these poses through which they express their fantasies and their characters.
Chuma, the elegant gaucho from the South
Chuma, and his good looks… the Gentleman from the South. Always clean on him, the mustache sharp, the hat well fitted, and he looks great on horseback of course. He’s the great rodeo specialist in Chile.
Hector Ceja
Hector with his old Ford is a very endearing character. Helpful and in a good mood every day, he’s a man with whom we would like to be friends for life!
Cristian, Chilean Gaucho
The “young” Cristian will welcome you with open arms to help you discover the way of life in a Chilean estancia. With Cristian we became friends from our first meeting because his simplicity and his courage seduced me.
Eduardo Cretton
Eduardo Cretton, little “grandpa” over 75 years old, who’s very endearing. He only lives thanks to these animals. An accordion player in his spare time, he only goes to town once a month. Meeting him on his farm is a real journey through time and simplicity.
Hector Valle, reflection of Patagonian nature
Hector Valle, “The” specialist in all water-related activities such as rafting, duckies, canyoning, but especially kayaking. He’s also a mountain bike and snowboard guide in winter. He’s a great lover of nature, which has always bonded us.
Hugo, the Lonely Gaucho
Hugo is one of those endearing gauchos who cannot be forgotten. Alone on horseback, exploring the thousands of hectares of the “La Matilde” estancia, between the sea and the Andes, in the heart of the Santa Cruz province in Argentine Patagonia.
Esteban and his estancia in Argentine Patagonia
Esteban Echeverría will welcome you with open arms as he did with me during our first meeting. With limitless kindness, he’s the image of the Argentine people. A man of the earth, simple, authentic… In his field, great moments await you, not only human but also cultural. At Esteban’s, there are often visitors, exceptional men to absolutely discover. And the landscapes surrounding the estate are simply breathtaking.
Máximo from Corrientes
Máximo will take you to discover the animals on the ponds of Iberá “Esteros del Iberá”. He was born there and is the specialist in spotting species masters in the art of camouflage such as caimans, anacondas, marsh deer… His kindness and his knowledge of wildlife impressed me and will surely appeal to you .
Juan & Mario, Fishermen of Patagonia
Juan (on the right) and Mario (on the left) make a living from fishing and travel the Atlantic along the Patagonian coasts. Mario, an excellent diver, collects kilos of scallops with the force of his breath; while Juan, at the helm, steers his small boat, often defying the elements. They can take you diving with sea bass and other marine mammals depending on your chance encounters…
Juan Capella, Chilean scientist
Juan Capella, Chilean, renowned scientist, will welcome you to “his” Carlos III Island, to share with you his passion and knowledge of whales. He lives outside of time, for 5 months of the year on this island. He knows every whale and has given each one a name. When the whales migrate, Juan joins them in Colombia to continue his research…
Juan, Harald & Michael
Juan and his 2 nephews Harald and Michael, will be at your complete disposal in the area of Puerto Varas and the Chiloé Island. It is always a pleasure for me to be with them and there is no shortage of memories of good times spent together. You’ll feel at home in their hotel, where good meals and good cocktails will be waiting for you. They’ll share with you their love for this region of Chile. Their mission will be to take you to discover authentic Chile, far from the beaten track. Very pleasant, funny, professional, simple… there’s no shortage of adjectives to talk about them. The easiest way will be to travel to this region of Chile so that you can see it. What is certain is that when you leave, goodbyes will be difficult…
Pedro Aznar, gaucho from Argentine Patagonia
Pedro will seduce you with his kindness: a former national rodeo champion, this is his great pride. Now in his fifties, he’s still dexterous (see the photo!). You may meet him in an estancia in Argentinian Patagonia, in the Santa Cruz province, not far from El Calafate. Pedro could have been a model, because he loves to pose and be photographed…
Máximo, guide in Argentine Patagonia
Máximo, a dynamic guide, will share his love for his country with you. It will surely accompany you to the lake region in Argentina. From the most delicate and demanding tourists, to the most relaxed tourists, Máximo has great facilities for adapting to the different profiles of the people he accompanies. You’ll certainly have a great time in his company.
Mario, guide in Puerto Pirámides
Mario is a lover of mountain bike trails. He’ll help you discover the Peninsula Valdes in an original way by taking untraveled trails. Mario wonderfully combines his passion for this activity with his love for nature in general, and we can say that here, along the Atlantic coast of the North of Argentine Patagonia, he is served!
