  A Trip to Argentina’s Lake District

On this fifth trip with Borispatagonia, we explored the region around Bariloche, San Martín de los Andes, and the Seven Lakes, and then, further south, the wilder, more desert-like region of Gualjaina in the province of Chubut.

We were able to count on Mariana’s attentive and warm support – she was always quick to respond to our questions – and on Boris’s kind attention, as he spent two days with us in Bariloche.

Beyond the landscapes – which were perhaps less impressive than in other places (with the exception of Gualjaina) – the highlights of this trip were the encounters with people who are passionate about their surroundings and their work, and who were delighted to share them with us: Máximo in Bariloche, Nicolás and Federico at their estancia, and Laura and Daniel in Gualjaina.
